If I have allergies, can I use your product?

We do have a sensitive line of soaps that do not have nuts or essential oils. Please read the ingredients prior to purchasing and always check with your doctor if you are unsure of an ingredient.

Is your product safe for children, pregnant or nursing mothers?

Our soaps do contain essential oils that are not recommended for children, pregnant or nursing mothers.  Please review the list of ingredients with your doctor prior to using our soaps. 

We do sell unscented products with no essential oils for anyone with sensitive skin.

Do your products contain harsh chemicals?

No, our products do not contain fragrance oils, parabens, sulfates, hormones or antibiotics.

As much as we would like our soap to smell like blueberry, that is a lab made fragrance that is not found in nature.   

...but why are you using lye?

All "real" soap is made using lye.   The process of making soap involves the saponification reaction, which requires lye to break down fats or oils into the components that form soap.

Once the saponification process is complete, and the soap has cured for a few weeks, there’s no leftover lye in the finished soap. The curing time ensures that all the lye is fully reacted, leaving only the soap and glycerol behind.
